Manage Your Garbage Account
Garbage is collected every week. There is no collection service on the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year’s Day
Following each of these holidays, service will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. All other holidays have normal collection.
Note: Seattle Housing Authority customers do not receive garbage or food and yard waste service from Seattle Public Utilities. Please contact the Seattle Housing Authority at (206) 716-1310 for your collection information.
Report Missed Collection
You can report a missed garbage, recycling, or yard waste collection after 5 PM on the day it was missed. It will be picked up within two working days. To report a missed collection you must be a single family residence with 96 gallons or less of garbage service.
